5. Course Objectives:

The objective of this course is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and autonomy/responsibility corresponding to the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) allocated to this course, specifically as follows: - Knowledge: Students shall be able to present knowledge related to the operations of the Central Bank, such as currency issuance, credit operations, open market operations (OMO), foreign exchange management, interbank payment systems, and monetary policy management, etc. - Skills: Students shall possess the skills to execute transactions with the Central Bank in credit and open market operations; determine settlement prices between credit institutions and the Central Bank during transactions; and select as well as explain the implementation of monetary policy through various instruments. - Autonomy and Responsibility: Students shall develop proactivity and self-awareness in learning; strictly comply with regulations; exercise prudence in conducting transactions; and demonstrate agility in handling situations and emerging issues within the banking business environment.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course provides students with general knowledge of Central Bank operations and specific professional practices, including: currency issuance, regulation of money in circulation, credit and payment operations, foreign exchange management, open market operations, as well as inspection, supervision, and internal control of the Central Bank.
