The subject helps students understand the history, characteristics and traditional cultural values of Vietnamese people, thereby developing awareness and love for their homeland and country and contributing to the preservation and promotion of Vietnam's culture.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
Introduction to Vietnamese Culture presents fundamentals/ basics in Vietnamese culture. It mainly focuses on six important contents: definition and characterization of culture; perceptions; community life; individual life; perceptions of and responses to nature; and perceptions and responses to society.
