5. Course Objectives:
The "Advanced Listening - Speaking 2" module is designed to help students further develop their English listening and speaking skills, focusing on topics such as Behaviour, Sustainability, and Accountability. The course aims to enable students to apply their listening and speaking skills in contexts such as negotiations and research presentations, while also fostering critical thinking. Students will refine their advanced listening and speaking abilities, as well as develop greater autonomy in their learning. This course builds on previous ones by broadening the range of topics and enhancing practical application skills, empowering students to confidently apply their knowledge to address real-world issues in business.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This module focusses on helping students reinforce and enhance listening and speaking skills for academic and professional purposes. Through listening to materials from a variety of sources on many subjects, students will improve their ability to understand and respond appropriately in increasingly complex or problem situations. Students will also improve their listening skills for academic study by following formal discussions, taking notes, and organizing and using these notes to complete academic or business assignments. Students will improve their ability to communicate in a variety of increasingly complex settings, especially in problem situations. They will also develop formal group discussion and leadership skills, and prepare and make formal presentations. Through these activities, students will continue to develop language skills and improve fluency.
