6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This module equips students with essential skills for academic writing. Students are provided with extensive writing practice to improve confidence and to give a base for developing writing competence. Students are able to improve grammar, master sentence structure and widen vocabulary. They are enabled to fully understand the organization of a complete paragraph, which consists of a topic sentence, supporting sentences and a concluding sentence. They also have practices on generating and organizing ideas into short compositions.
