5. Course Objectives:

Pricing strategy is among the most imporant poles of the marketing mix of a company. It is also among the most important decisions of a company because it helps generate and maximize revenues and profits for the company. The objective of this course is to prepare students with foundation of economic, analytical, and behavioral concepts related to costs, consumers, and competitors. Such knowledge and concepts help students have deep understanding about the effective pricing decisions. In addition, this course also introduces students to advanced pricing techniques that aim to create more value for a company.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course explains how to balance the ability to create and extract value from markets by managing pricing decisions in a more strategic and profitable manner. Students will learn different knowledge and concepts of pricing, including strategic pricing, economic value, price and value communication, price structure, pricing policy, price competition, price level and other topics.
