5. Course Objectives:
"Enterprise Accounting Organization in the IT Environment" course provides learners with basic knowledge and skills to achieve success in the project of organizing accounting information systems (AIS) for enterprises in an information technology (IT) environment. First, learners can understand and identify the objectives, requirements, and determinants of accounting organizations in an IT environment. This course aims to provide learners with the ability to recognize and apply the process and methods of organizing AIS, including determining accounting information requirements, organizing accounting objects and detailed management objects, building a system of documents and the process of making and circulating documents, organizing the application of the account system, organizing the accounting reporting system, building the accounting structure, and selecting and evaluating accounting software, ERP. The course connects the necessary knowledge in accounting practice with reality through the content of instructions on using accounting, ERP software in the direction of accounting simulation. Learners are exposed to the methods of installation, initial declaration, operation, and exploitation of information on accounting, ERP software.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This course provides learners with the basic knowledge to achieve success in the project of accounting organization for enterprises in the information technology (IT) environment. Firstly, the knowledge about the objectives, requirements and factors that govern the of enterprises accounting organization in the IT environment is introduced.
This course also presents the processes and ways of enterprises accounting organization, including identifying accounting information requirements, organizing accounting objects and detailed management objects, building document system and document flow process and organizing the application of the accounting accounts, accounting reports, accounting structure and selecting and evaluating the accounting program like accounting software, ERP... Besides, the course instructs how to apply knowledge of enterprises accounting organization in practice.
We design this course to link the necessary knowledge in the practice of accounting profession with real world with the contents of instruction on using accounting software according to the orientation of accounting simulation. Learners will have access to how to install, initialize and operate, exploit information on accounting software.
