This course provides a fundamental and overview of smart city including theoretical, political, economic, administrative, regulatory and governance framework. Throughout the course, students will learn about smart city by global best practice case in smart city development in terms of operational characteristics, approaches, methods to develop a masterplan to achieve mid-to-long-term goals. The course will enable the course takers to make a step forward in developing an open, collaborative, citizen-centric, and digitally-enabled operating model for their city that realizes their vision of smart city toward sustainable, resilient, and prosperous future.
