Collaborative planning is a process that involves multiple individuals or groups working together to develop a shared plan or strategy. This course explores from fundamental concepts to collaborative planning principles and techniques, focusing on community engagement and stakeholder collaboration, and supporting diversity, equity and inclusion in the urban areas. Students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary for collaborative planning processes and apply them to various real-world situations. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and group projects, students will learn to leverage the knowledge, expertise, and perspectives of different stakeholders and build consensus to create a more comprehensive and effective plan.
