5. Course Objectives:

The course ""Building Architectural Details"" covers the fundamentals of low-rise architectural construction and structures. It provides the vocabulary and knowledge necessary to discuss the building process with professionals and gives students the confidence to apply their new understanding to designing a small architectural project. Throughout the course, students will develop the ability to read construction drawings, prepare standard construction details, and understand the techniques related to critical building components and widely used materials. ""Building Architectonic Details"" enhances their technical grasp of materials, construction, and structures through detailed case studies and hands-on project applications. Students will explore and apply their knowledge of reinforced concrete construction alongside architectural design. Additionally, they will learn how to use building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to medium-scale buildings.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The course "Building structure and Material" introduces general knowledge of structural systems, construction materials and practical design solutions for contemporary building structures. The course focus to develop the student’s capacity to explain and interpret information related to the fundamental principles and structural behavior of modern buildings in withstanding gravity, wind, earthquake, and other environmental forces. Analyze the structural characteristics of common construction materials and learn to integrate structural elements into complete structural systems in modern buildings.
