This course aims to provide students with knowledge of Architectural Physics (Heating, Lighting, Ventilation, Acoustics), helping them integrate scientific principles into their design projects to adapt to the climate and environment in architecture and urban design.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The course "Architectural Physics" introduces general knowledge of knowledge of waves, sound, seismology, laws of motion, forces, gravity, energy, thermodynamics, fluids, properties of materials, and light to architecture. At the end of the course the student will have competence:
- to select proper constructions and materials from technical requirements
- to apply building physics to design sustainable and moisture safe buildings
