5. Course Objectives:
The objective of the course is to provide students with both basic and advanced mathematical knowledge, especially concepts and methods directly related to the field of art technology. The course aims to help students understand and apply concepts such as matrices, linear equations, vector spaces, and differential calculus to real-world problems in digital art and creative technology. Additionally, the course trains students in analytical skills, problem-solving, and logical thinking, enabling them to apply mathematics to create digital art products, graphic designs, and other art technology applications. Finally, the course also focuses on developing teamwork and presentation skills, equipping students to work effectively on creative projects and present ideas clearly and coherently.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This course will provide students with basic knowledge of advanced mathematics used for ArtTech. Which is included by two main part: Linear Algebra and Calculus. With the Linear Algebra, students will be introduced to vectors, matrices, and linear mapping. While in the Calculus part, students will be introduced to derivatives, integration, and differential equations.
