This course studies the concepts, principles, tools and methods of applying personal financial management knowledge in some key areas of life to build a solid financial foundation in the future. This course applies the knowledge learned in the commercial banking courses, accounting principles, money and capital markets, and insurance practice principles to be able to carry out personal financial planning.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
It is important to help people develop a plan to achieve financial security. This course provides a wealth of information about career planning; money management; taxes; consumer credit, including college loans, housing; legal protection; insurance; investments; retirement planning; and estate planning. By teaching students how to make informed choices, they are encouraged to build a foundation of financial security. Students can assess their current personal financial literacy, identify their personal financial goals, develop and apply a personal financial strategy to help them achieve those goals.
