5. Course Objectives:
This module aims to equip students with knowledge and skills about the Central Bank, the operations of the Central Bank and the making of monetary policy and the implementation of monetary policy using the tools of the Central Bank. The module also equips students with knowledge about the transmission mechanism of monetary policy through credit channels, foreign exchange markets, and open markets, thereby affecting the objectives of monetary policy. From there, it helps students know how to contact, handle and evaluate the actual situations of the State Bank.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The course equips students with knowledge and skills about Central Bank's operations and monetary policy. The course also provides the knowledge of the transmission monetary policy through credit, foreign exchange market, and open market channels affecting the objectives of monetary policy. It helps students to analyze the real situations related to the State Bank of Vietnam
