The first course helps students understand the overview of commercial banking activities and how to analyze the performance of this type of business.
Next, the course equips students with knowledge of managing capital mobilization activities including deposits as well as other types of debt. How lending activities, profitable investments and providing financial services are managed is also mentioned.
Finally, how banks manage enough equity to deal with risks according to Basel standards and Vietnamese legal standards is presented and discuss.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
Bank management provides students with basic knowledge of banking operations as well as the characteristics and development trends in banking business. The course helps students to analyze the effectiveness and risk in banking operations. Also, tudents are equipped with knowledge about how to manage capital, credit, investment and non-interest profitable activities and how banks manage their own capital to deal with risks
