5. Course Objectives:

- Understand the operating principles of the Core Banking system that is commonly used in the commercial banking system. - Practice skills in handling transactions in the main business activities of commercial banks such as: deposit transactions, loan transactions, payment transactions via banks and international payment transactions. - Practice critical thinking skills, apply theory to improve and develop business transaction processes at commercial banks. - Practice skills in solving situations, teamwork, presentation, and thinking in accordance with the law.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and practical skills about the "Core banking" system that is being applied in practice at Vietnamese commercial banks. Some core contents will be taught in this subject, including how to identify problems and handle situations in commercial banks' business activities such as: deposit receiving, credit extension, payment via banking, and international payments. After completing this course, students will have the opportunity to improve their knowledge of how to provide banking products and services to customers, understand the relationship between the business departments in the bank and have the opportunity to practical approach right from when studying at school.
