The Econometrics course provides introductory knowledge of Econometrics, helping students grasp the basic knowledge to build, estimate and analyze a linear regression model based on cross-sectional data.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
Econometrics introduces the regression model and its application in economics. This module introduces both theoretical and practical aspects of regression analysis, focusing on model estimation, testing hypotheses and forecasting variables based on estimated models. The module also uses software R/Eviews/Stata to practice econometric models in estimation, testing and forecasting.
