5. Course Objectives:

The Market Data Analysis course aims to help students be able to link knowledge modules of statistics, business, research methods, data analysis techniques to design, organize and perform appropriate statistical analysis to provide an information base for making effective market decisions.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The Marketing Data Analysis module systematically provides data analysis methods and techniques for making market decisions common in business organizations. This course equips students with concepts, data source, and analytical skills for each specific topic of market access from basic analysis such as usage and attitutes, market segmentation, positioning analysis, to specific topics such as analysis for decision making on products, prices, advertising, retail and brand health.
