5. Course Objectives:

The goal of business development efforts requires the entrepreneur to meet two basic requirements: to have a solid understanding of business concepts and to have the ability to be intuitive, discerning, and discerning. create business ideas and put them into practice. To meet this requirement, the module will provide knowledge related to the synthesis of the two concepts "sketching the business mindset" and "mapping the business concepts" to make the business work. the better. Three issues raised in this module include: Introduce the contents related to "Outline of business analytical thinking" , conducting what business activities, how to apply the principles of outlining business thinking into practice, and conducting activities to redefine business operations analysis. The second part will provide knowledge and application of knowledge related to "Building business concept maps", these issues include identifying and analyzing business information, map business concepts. Finally, implementing the "Business innovation through diagrams of business concepts". This improvement is done through analyzing the reliability of business information, owning management information, implementing business rules autonomously.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

In today's volatile business environment, finding and analyzing business information systematically and listed with a linear mindset no longer seems appropriate. There is so much information that a businessman needs to gather, compute and process. Therefore, it becomes increasingly difficult to use a linear approach to predict future trends. The business design thinking module will provide the knowledge and skills needed to help students solve this problem.

Design thinking for business equips learners to use a designer's thinking in analysis as business ideas. The key to design thinking is to empathize with customers and find their unmet needs through understanding of their beliefs, values, motivations, behavior, pain-points, challenges and gains of customers so that they can develop innovative business solutions. The six principles of design thinking are people-centered, teamwork collaboration, learning by doing, engaging with experiment, understanding patterns, relationships and systems, visualize and show.

The content of the subject will provide and the knowledge and skills for learners to apply the three stages of design thinking in business: inspiration, ideation, and implementation. Analytical skills applied in the stages of design thinking will be introduced to learners through SCOPES, STEEP models, STEEP analysis matrix, strategic priority matrix, stakeholder map, observe customers, interview customers, identify customers’ insights and customers’ needs, POEMS model, empathy map, co-creation,...
