The course is to help students understand and apply the basic principles of creating websites. The course provides knowledge on planning, designing, and developing websites, particularly using WordPress to build a personal portfolio website. Students will learn how to create websites, personal blogs, and integrate social media into their online presence. The course helps students develop skills in interface design, using typography, color schemes, and images to structure and present content clearly and effectively, while also utilizing interactivity to optimize the user experience on the website.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
In this course, you will gain a foundational knowledge of website creation and be able to apply it to the planning, design and development of your own portfolio website over the course of the semester using WordPress. Create websites; blog about your activities; and integrate social media into your online presence. Students will apply previously learned design, typography, and software skills to create, organize, and structure content for clarity and impact through the use of type, color, image, and interactivity using Wordpress.
