- Understand the importance of civic engagement in promoting sustainable community development. - Analyze models, strategies, and tools used to foster citizen participation across various sectors. - Apply communication knowledge and skills to design effective community communication activities and projects. - Develop a sense of social responsibility, active citizenship, and critical thinking in the process of participating in and promoting community engagement.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course introduces students to the theories, models, and practices of civic engagement, with a strong focus on how media and communication can promote participation in community life. Through interactive lectures, real-world case studies, group projects, and field-based assignments, students will explore how to design, execute, and evaluate communication campaigns that inspire civic action, especially in digital contexts.
