5. Course Objectives:
Understand the basic principles applied in bidding and auctioning assets in Vietnam
- Advise relevant businesses, agencies and units on specialized legal knowledge in bidding and auctioning assets to limit legal risks arising during the bidding and auctioning process
- Distinguish between forms of contractor selection, methods of contractor selection, forms of asset auction
- Diagram the process of selecting contractors/investors according to bidding law as well as the order and procedures for asset auction according to the law on asset auction in Vietnam
- Select the appropriate type of contract applicable in the bidding field, as well as select the appropriate asset auction enterprise to advise businesses on signing and implementation
- Handle legal incidents arising in bidding and asset auction activities
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The subject of Law on Bidding and Property Auction provides legal knowledge about bidding procedures, property auction, and determination of the eligibility of parties participating in bidding and auction activities in accordance with the laws of Vietnam. In addition, regulations related to principles of bidding, handling of legal issues arising in the bidding process such as contract conclusion, bid cancellation, property auction cancellation, qualification, Profile of parties participating in bidding, property auctions as well as forms of contractor selection, methods of bidding, property auctions are also key contents of this course.
