5. Course Objectives:
This course first introduces general applications, market trends, and things to learn. The course then introduces basic platforms, such as Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, and other tools. Besides, the course will introduce several data storage methods and how to upload, distribute and process Big Data. In addition, the course will continue to introduce different ways to handle machine learning analysis algorithms. After that, students will have basic knowledge of Big Data Analytics to implement a project. Overall, this course is designed for students who have a basic understanding of data analysis and want to acquire these advanced skills and knowledge.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This course equips students with knowledge and skills in applying technology (ICT) to the application of big data in business areas such as product design, marketing, supply chain management, finance - banking and decision making.
