5. Course Objectives:

E-commerce law is a crucial requirement in the training of business graduates, especially in the context of integration and the current information technology era. Currently, the global legal system for e-commerce has gradually been improving towards common standards, but the domestic legal framework in this area remains inadequate and weak. From the Uruguay Round negotiations that established the WTO framework, to the accession of CP-TPP, and more recently the formation of the ASEAN Economic Community, it is clear that the opportunities and future of e-commerce will continuously evolve. Therefore, mastering the regulations, not only domestic law but also international law, is essential for this subject. E-commerce law will provide and offer students the legal framework governing e-commerce activities, from electronic contracts and electronic transactions to related issues such as data security and intellectual property, based on the obligations established within the domestic legal framework, as well as internationally recognized standards and principles.
