5. Course Objectives:

The "Franchise" course is designed to provide students with an overview of the franchising model, an important business strategy in the modern economy. Students will learn the history of development, basic concepts, and the role of franchising in expanding the market and building brands. Through the analysis of franchise strategies, the course helps students develop skills in evaluating, managing the relationship between franchisors and franchisees, as well as designing an effective franchise system. From there, students will have enough knowledge and skills to establish, manage or participate in franchise business models, meeting the practical needs of the market.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The way to start a business through a franchise is increasingly popular in the world. Many production or service units are being managed under franchising. As a result, the need to equip the franchisors and franchisees with knowledge as much as possible. This course is designed to introduce essential knowledge covering important aspects of franchising such as start-up, developing, and managing relationships of a network of businesses and franchising. The module also pays great attention to the cooperation of these two subjects to create success for both sides. Franchising opportunities, franchisee sponsorship, and legal aspects are also covered in this module.
