5. Course Objectives:

The "Event Planning" course provides in-depth knowledge and practical skills needed to plan and organize events effectively. Students will gain a clear understanding of the importance and process of event planning, from initial strategy to detailed implementation in key areas such as human resources, marketing and communications, finance, logistics, event staging and risk management. The course emphasizes project management techniques and how to apply them to event planning, while helping students develop skills in problem identification, problem solving, communication, relationship building, teamwork and time management. In addition, the course also trains students in determination, the will to overcome difficulties and the ability to flexibly adapt to changes in the environment and unexpected situations, in order to prepare students to be confident and proactive in their future careers.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This module develops professional knowledge of planning an event. Starting with the basic understanding of the strategic planning for events, the module then provides the specific guidance in planning activities of the key areas of events: human resources, marketing and promotion, finance, staging, logistics, and risk management. Project management techniques in planning and organizing events will also be emphasized.
