"The course "Information Technology in Events and Leisure Services" provides students with a foundational understanding of the intersection between information technology and the tourism, events, and entertainment industries. Students will learn about basic concepts, information technology trends being applied in the industry, as well as the importance of technology in innovation and service quality improvement. The course also helps students develop skills in applying information technology to entertainment and event services, assessing the sustainability of technology application, and solving real-life situations related to technology systems in the industry. In addition, the course encourages students to self-evaluate, build self-awareness, and define career goals to prepare for the challenges and opportunities in using information technology to innovate and develop careers in the tourism, events, and entertainment industry."

The travel and tourism industry has been at the forefront of technological innovation. A comprehensive outlook of how information technology has been and should be implemented in the travel and tourism industry, the challenges associated with the implementation of information technology and the impacts generated from this implementation.
