5. Course Objectives:

The objective of the internship and graduation course is to help learners access the practical environment of the labor market from year 2 of training program, thereby enabling students to synthesize the knowledge they have acquired, relate and apply specialized knowledge to real-life situations. Moreover, students can refine the skills and attitudes that meet the requirements of employers. Moreover, students can build their professional competencies after completing the training program. In addition, the objective of the course is to support students in conducting independent research related to their specialized knowledge in order to participate in higher levels of education program.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

In the internship and graduation module, students participate in working environments at businesses, financial institutions, or government agencies.  The internship process at the enterprise for students will be guided, supported, supervised, and evaluated by lecturers or (and) a mentor at the enterprise.  Alongside the internship process, students can choose one of the following two forms:  (1) Write a business semester report or (2) complete a graduation thesis.  For the form of the business semester report, students must synthesize specialized knowledge related to the practical issues that the business needs to address, collect data, and analyze the situation.  Finally, students must provide recommendations and solutions for the business and practical lessons for themselves.  For the graduation thesis format, students must independently conduct a complete research paper in accordance with the requirements of an acadamic paper.  Accordingly, students must investigate and develop a research question relevant to the field of fincance, synthesize and construct a literature review, including summarize previous empirical evidence related to their research question to identify research gaps.  Then, students develop research hypotheses and collect data, conduct quantitative analysis, and test the proposed hypotheses.  Based on the results of the hypothesis testing analysis, students will discuss, evaluate the research results, and make recommendations based on the research findings.
