5. Course Objectives:

The Multinational Company Finance course provides students with basic and in-depth knowledge of a multinational corporation’s financial decisions. The course also provides students with the skills to discuss, present, and explain issues of environmental change affecting the financial activities of multinational companies. After completing the course on Multinational Corporate Finance, students can understand, explain, analyze, and propose financial decisions of multinational corporations that operate in a global environment.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of international financial markets in which multinational companies operate, and the risks the latter might face in a global environment.  In particular, this course focuses on the financial decisions of multinational corporations, including measuring exchange rate exposures, taxes, short-term investment and financing decisions, investment activities and cross-border mergers and acquisitions issues, evaluation of international investment projects, international capital structure and cost of capital.
