Industry 4.0 has been fundamentally changing how organizations manage their human resources. Besides automating routine HR management activities, digital applications are also impacting the development and implementation of organizational HR strategies, transforming how organizations attract talent, select and recruit, plan workforce, train and develop, etc. For example, Deloitte has used online training combined with video games when developing leadership skills training programs, thereby improving training effectiveness (Meister, 2013). Additionally, with the explosion of data, more and more organizations are applying big data analytics solutions when making HR decisions. The future success of HR management largely depends on the ability to apply these technological advances.
