General Objectives: o Equip learners with essential knowledge and skills in People Analytics for modern human resource management. o Help learners understand the importance of data-driven decision-making in human resource management. o Master common methods and tools for HR data analysis. Specific Objectives: - Knowledge o Understand the concept, role, and importance of people analytics in modern business management. o Master basic HR data analysis methods and techniques. o Understand the process of collecting, organizing, and managing HR data. o Understand how to apply people analytics to specific HR management activities. - Skills: o Ability to collect, organize, and manage HR data. o Proficiency in basic data analysis tools (Excel, R, Python). o Ability to analyze and interpret data analysis results. o Know how to apply analytical techniques to solve HR management issues. - Attitude: o Recognize the importance of data-driven decision-making. o Demonstrate a learning mindset and stay updated with new knowledge about technology and data analysis. o Maintain professional ethics in collecting and using HR data. o Show positive attitude towards applying technology in HR management.

The "People Analytics" course provides learners with a modern approach to human resource management, based on data analysis and evidence-based decision-making. The course focuses on three main aspects:

  • First, the course introduces an overview of people analytics, its role in business management, and the difference between traditional and data-driven approaches in human resource management.
  • Second, the course provides essential knowledge and skills in collecting, organizing, and analyzing HR data. Learners will become familiar with common analytical tools and techniques ranging from basic to advanced.
  • Third, the course focuses on applying analytical methods to specific HR activities such as recruitment, training, performance evaluation, talent management, and organizational culture and environment analysis.

Through this course, learners will develop analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making capabilities in HR management, while understanding new trends in this field such as the application of Machine Learning and AI in people analytics.
