5. Course Objectives:
This course equips students with the ability to synthesize and apply knowledge from previous subjects such as General Physics, Electrical - Electronic Engineering, Sensors and Actuators to analyze structures, calculate and design algorithms as well as build an automatic control system for practical requirements.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The course aims to provide learners with knowledge about programmable logic controllers; Typical PLC programming language and interface. Providing learners with knowledge and skills in PLC programming such as: determining application requirements, calculating and designing PLC control systems, selecting optimal sensors and actuators, and building diagrams. Hardware; Build a control program suitable to the requirements. The course helps learners have a theoretical foundation and skills to be able to grasp and use common types of PLCs in industry, and apply programming skills to build control programs for industrial applications.
