5. Course Objectives:
The course "Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems" aims to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of the structure, classification, and applications of data acquisition and control systems. Students will learn to analyze and operate signal processing blocks, data processing blocks, and apply them in practical scenarios. Furthermore, the course focuses on programming techniques for data acquisition and processing, selecting and utilizing appropriate SCADA software based on system requirements. Students will also be equipped with fundamental and advanced knowledge of OPC technology, along with the ability to design and implement SCADA systems in industrial environments.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This course aims to equip students with knowledge about the structure, classification, and applications of data acquisition and control systems. It also focuses on how signal processing blocks work and behave, as well as data processing blocks in a real-world context. Students will be educated in programming techniques for real-world data collection.
In addition, the course provides knowledge about OPC and SCADA systems, including components and their functions in SCADA systems.
