Indeed, the methods and skill for analyzing some automation manufacturing processes including production model, process identification will be offered for students. Additionally, the methods of controlling the automation system such as: mechanical method, electromechanical method, hydraulic-pneumatic method, program logic control engineering. The advantages and disadvantages of these control methods are mentioned. This course will also offer for students methodologies to make solution relating to calculation and design of automation manufacturing system. Student can use fluently an engineering software for writing control program as well as monitoring the operation of the equipments in the manufacturing automation system

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The course aims to provide learners with basic knowledge about devices in automatic systems, operating principles of devices in automatic systems (sensor devices, control devices, actuators, etc.). operating), thereby selecting devices for the automatic system. Provides learners with basic knowledge and skills to analyze a number of production processes, including explaining process models, physicochemical models, process identification, and characteristics of control system components. production process as well as the ability to calculate, design, and analyze controls in the production process control system. In addition, the subject also provides knowledge about control methods to automate the system, including: mechanical control, electromechanical control, pneumatic-hydraulic control, electronic control. PLC, Advantages and disadvantages of the above control methods. Students self-study to be able to use a software to write control programs and monitor equipment using a PLC controller.
