This subject equips students with the ability to synthesize and apply knowledge from previous subjects such as General Physics, Electrical Engineering - Electronics, PLC, Sensors and Actuators, Automatic Control Theory, Engineering Mathematics to analyze the structure, calculate and design a process control system that meets practical requirements.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The subject aims to equip students with knowledge about process control principles, structure and characteristics of system components. Students are able to apply knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, physics and automatic control theory to build, simulate and analyze technological processes in process control systems. Students will be able to analyze and select process control strategies appropriate to the practical needs of the system; Able to design and build control programs for common technological processes in industry.
