5. Course Objectives:

"The Criminal Law course provides knowledge about crimes, criminal responsibility, elements of a crime, and penalties. Upon completion of the course, students will achieve the following objectives: Understand the concept of crime: Students will distinguish between crimes and other legal violations, gain a thorough understanding of criminal responsibility and penalties, and recognize the characteristics of specific crimes, particularly in the economic sector. Analyze legal situations: Students will analyze legal cases, identify case details, study and assess the criminal legal nature, as well as determine criminal charges and decide on penalties. Compare crimes across different jurisdictions: Students will be able to compare crimes in the criminal laws of different countries. Develop debating and critical thinking skills: Students will improve their ability to debate, critique opinions, and collaborate in group discussions. Foster professional responsibility and justice: Students will develop a sense of professional responsibility and justice, while also enhancing their ability to self-learn and work independently."

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The Criminal Law subject will equip students with general theoretical issues about criminal law as well as specific criminal legal models, divided into two clusters of sections: general criminal act and a specific crime. In the general section, knowledge includes an overview of crime and constituent crime, punishment and penalty decisions. The specific crime section will provide knowledge on the legal signs typical of real-life crimes and crimes related to business activities.
