5. Course Objectives:

" The Criminal Procedure Law course aims to provide students with a strong understanding of judicial rights, trial procedures, and international standards related to human rights in criminal proceedings. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of criminal procedure in Vietnam and internationally, and will be able to compare and evaluate different procedural models. The course develops skills in applying procedural laws, gathering and utilizing evidence, writing legal essays, and participating in debates and teamwork. Students will also cultivate a serious attitude toward justice, empathy for the parties involved in the case, and perseverance in fighting for justice and fairness."

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The Criminal Procedure Law subject introduces students to the theoretical issues of judicial rights; protection of human rights in criminal proceedings; procedural models in the world, as well as the basic contents of the proceedings. which are specified in the Criminal Procedure Code. Understanding the rationale, concepts and regulations of criminal proceedings is a must for graduates of law majors. The subject will build capabilities and skills in criminal proceedings for undergraduate students. Students can pertain the understanding they have learned to serve career activities after graduation.
