5. Course Objectives:

The International Financial Markets course provides students with comprehensive knowledge, ranging from basic to advanced levels, about the components of international financial markets and the financial institutions involved in these markets. Upon completing this course, students will be able to understand, explain, and analyze the financial activities of these institutions within the international financial environment.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course will provide students with knowledge about the organizational structure and the operation of financial markets. It also introduces the features and roles of main financial institutions such as savings and loans associations, insurance companies and mutual funds. Besides, this course gives a depth analysis of different types of instruments traded in the money markets and capital markets such as deposits, stocks, bonds, and securitization, thereby representing the dynamic of capital flows in the market and highlighting the role of financial institutions. 
In addition, this course also gives attention to the relationship between domestic and international financial markets, as well as introduces financial institution regulations.
