The course Research methods in Public Finance introduces students to an overview of scientific research methods and more specifically in the field of Public Finance. Specifically, it provides students with general knowledge of scientific research and the research process. Then, the course equips students with skills in finding research ideas, theoretical overview, building research models, citing references, and building a research proposal.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course equips learners with scientific approaches and essential methods for conducting research in the field of public finance. Topics include fiscal policy, public debt management, public expenditures, and policies related to tax, customs, and cross-border trade. Students will also learn basic statistical techniques such as ANOVA and multiple regression, complemented by practical training in academic writing, developing research proposals, reviewing relevant literature, and effectively communicating research results.

The curriculum is delivered through lectures and group discussions, enriched by independent research projects that enable students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.
