5. Course Objectives:
This course provides an overview of maritime and aviation transport carried out in foreign trade transport activities from the perspective of the private sector (individuals, enterprises) and the public sector (customs, state management agencies). Students are able to understand basic information about maritime and aviation areas, the scope of operations of maritime and aviation areas, regulations on seaports and airports, etc., thereby being able to detect and assess possible risks in the maritime and aviation fields, and evaluate procedures used in different operating conditions. In addition, through studying regulations based on national laws and international conventions, students can practice maritime and aviation rules in a variety of ways. From there, they can be more proactive in negotiating maritime and aviation transport contracts with minimal legal risks, and develop operational strategies and effectively control maritime and aviation activities. In addition, through active teaching methods and setting out principles to follow when participating in the subject, students can also develop their thinking ability, perfect soft skills as well as attitudes.
