5. Course Objectives:

This course provides a basic understanding of trade facilitation and management policies. International trends affecting trade facilitation and management are also discussed, including the application of new technology, trade agreements, and international pressures to achieve the appropriate balance between facilitating trade and complying with regulations.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The courses content includes knowledge related to trade facilitation. These include the concepts and role of trade facilitation; key pillars of trade facilitation; Economic reasons for countries to cooperate to facilitate trade. The course also briefly examines the role of facilitation in the economic model. Practically, students will learn about the history of international trade and the formation of the WTO; WTO TFA facilitation agreement and trade facilitation measurement indicators. The course then provides in-depth analysis of today's most challenging aspects of commercial profitability. Current trade agreements are also discussed in the course content.
