This course provides foundational knowledge and practical skills in warehousing and inventory management within modern logistics. It covers warehouse roles and classifications, operations, layout and technology, documentation and HSSE practices, costing models, pricing and quotation, and emerging smart warehouse trends such as IoT, AI, and Digital Twins. The course enables learners to manage warehouse operations effectively, optimize performance, and support supply chain efficiency.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The course includes 9 sessions covering: warehouse fundamentals; warehouse types and logistics centers; operations and layout design; systems and technologies such as AS/RS, WMS, and RFID; documentation and HSSE management; costing and tariff models; financial management and quotation preparation; practical exercises; and future trends in digital and sustainable warehousing.
