- Understand the fundamental concepts of quality and quality management as well as the role of quality management in the success of the organization;
- Understand the principles and functions of quality management;
- Understand and be able to use a number of quality management techniques;
- Be aware of quality assessment methods, evaluate quality management systems and be able to apply assessment methods;
- Understand the essence of the quality management system according to the international standard ISO 9000.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
Introduction to the principles of quality management, with an emphasis on cross-functional problem solving. This course will provide a basic understanding of the philosophy, conceptual frameworks and the tools of the Total Quality Management.
