5. Course Objectives:
The "Introduction to Logistics Technology" course provides students with foundational knowledge and career orientation in the field of logistics technology. Students will be introduced to the Logistics Technology program, the role, and importance of technology in modern supply chain and logistics management. The course focuses on advanced technologies such as automation, the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and intelligent management systems within the context of Industry 4.0. Students will also develop soft skills in communication, teamwork, and creative learning methods to enhance their professional competencies. Additionally, the course emphasizes academic ethics, scientific integrity, and the significance of logistics technology in addressing practical and contemporary challenges.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The course equips students of Logistics Technology with basic knowledge about:
- Industry, training direction specialized in Logistics technology;
- Organization of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City, School of Technology and Design, and other training resources of the school;
- Basic knowledge of techniques, technologies, advanced technologies, Industry 4.0;
- Knowledge of communication techniques, teamwork, and active and creative learning methods related to technology;
- Understanding of academic ethics, and scientific ethics; awareness of the history and future of engineering, the connection between engineering and the outside world, and its relevance to contemporary issues
