Designing algorithms and studying the factors involved in the problem-solving process. Using numerical analysis and linear algebra to solve industrial problems. The course includes problem modeling, the tabular simplex method, duality theory, introduction to geometric methods for the simplex method, sensitivity analysis, transportation and network flow problems, optimization conditions, and basic numerical methods for nonlinear programming.
