Understand an overview of business process analysis and the role of business analysis in the enterprise.
Understand the roles, responsibilities and skills required of a Business Analyst.
Understand the business analysis process.
Know the necessary techniques and tools used in business analysis.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This course introduces the knowledge and skills necessary for students to be able to carry out effective business analysis. Business analysis techniques will be introduced from the status quo survey, perspective analysis, and stakeholder management to requirements identification, analysis, documentation, and requirements management. In addition, students will be given discussion topics/exercises to apply the knowledge they have learned. The content of the module is divided into the following chapters:
· Chapter 1: Overview of business analysis
· Chapter 2: Business analysis process
· Chapter 3: Investigation Techniques
· Chapter 4: Analyzing and Managing Strategies and Stakeholders
· Chapter 6: Business Process Modeling
