- Provide an overview of Design Thinking: definition, operating process, principles of practice, and the role of Design Thinking in promoting creative thinking;
- Introduce and guide how to effectively apply the tools when practicing the Design Thinking process to solve real-life situations.
- Project-based learning helps learners develop teamwork skills, critical thinking skills, presentation skills, effective communication skills, giving and receiving feedback, respecting other people's ideas and perspectives, etc.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
Design thinking is a social science associated with the process of thinking and designing to solve problems. This module will focus on helping students improve their ability to generate new ideas and discoveries, working with constant innovation to solve problems. Design thinking is slowly gaining popularity both in industry and in business. This course is designed as a project with a series of thematic reports and workshops on design thinking. After this course, students are able to research, analyze, explore and present ideas effectively, working independently on individual and group projects.
