5. Course Objectives:

The module is designed to help Bachelor's students master the core knowledge of logistics and project management in the supply chain, and develop the practical skills necessary to solve practical problems at businesses. Students will be equipped to analyse key project characteristics and manage critical phases such as planning, implementation and evaluation of project effectiveness. In addition, the module also focuses on optimizing costs and improving service quality, helping students understand how to apply logistics solutions in a practical context. Through real-life project scenarios from enterprises, students will learn how to identify problems, design solutions, manage progress and risks in projects, and evaluate the feasibility and value of proposed solutions. The course not only emphasises theory, but also encourages students to develop teamwork, effective communication, and creative decision-making, making them ready to meet the requirements of the labor market in the field of logistics and supply chain management.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The course focuses on knowledge contents such as: overview of logistics solutions and project management in the supply chain; characteristics of projects and 3 main phases of projects and acquiring the necessary skills to become a good member of the project management team. Students will be guided to practice the methods of approaching logistics/supply chain solution projects through: phased approach, problem identification, design, project implementation, project progress and roadmap evaluation; necessary techniques in managing different phases of a project, including: project planning, project initiation and risk management; assessing the feasibility and value of proposed solutions in the project through cost optimization and service level improvement thinking.
