5. Course Objectives:

The Organizational Behavior for Public Organizations equips students with knowledge, skills, and competencies to understand, manage, and impact behavior change. The main topics in the course revolve around the science of organizational behavior with a focus on the management of public and non-profit organizations with three main theme groups including (1) Understanding the behavior, motivation, and actions of public officials; (2) The difference between management and leadership in public and non-profit organizations; (3) Individual experiences of real-life situations related to the topic of organizational behavior.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The Organizational behavior for public organizations course equips for the learner basis knowledge related to organizational behavior at the individual, group, and organizational level. Specifically, At the individual level, learner study the diversity at workplace; value, perception and decision-making process; work motivation. At the group level, learner explore teamwork, communication in organization, conflicts, and negotiation in the organization. At the organizational level, learner focus on organizational culture, change management, and stress in organization
