5. Course Objectives:

This course provides students with knowledge about: Provide students with fundamental knowledge and principles of robotics engineering, including the design and application of robotic systems. Guide students in applying foundational knowledge from previous courses such as mechanical engineering, mechanical design, and automatic control to build and design robotic systems. Equip students with the ability to analyze and solve robotic kinematics problems, including forward and inverse kinematics, and to plan robot motion trajectories. Help students understand and apply Jacobian problems, velocity, forward and inverse dynamics in the design and control of robots. Develop students’ skills in simulation programming and robot control for practical applications.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course provides students with the basic knowledge and foundation of robotics engineering. Students will build on the foundation of previous subjects such as: engineering mechanics, mechanical design, automatic control to build, design and evaluate robotic systems. The content in this module includes: conversion of coordinate system; robot kinematics analysis; determine the problems of forward kinematics, inverse kinematics of robots; set the motion trajectory of the robot; Jacobi problem and velocity; forward and reverse dynamics; programming simulation and robot control.
