5. Course Objectives:
The objective of this course is to equip students with fundamental skills and scientific research methods, enabling them to develop and implement scientific research projects independently and effectively. The main objectives of the course are to help students:
- Understand the basic concepts of scientific research, including how to formulate research questions and hypotheses, as well as how to collect and analyze data.
- Combine design thinking with research methods to solve practical problems, thereby developing creative and highly applicable solutions.
- Practice teamwork skills, presentation skills, scientific report writing, and critical thinking in the research process.
- Develop autonomy in solving problems, responsibility for one's own work, and the ability to apply scientific thinking to future work.
- Complete a research project with high applicability and scientific value, while developing analytical, creative, and critical thinking in solving scientific and practical problems.
Through this course, students will be fully equipped with the necessary skills to conduct independent scientific research, combined with design thinking to solve practical problems in work and academia.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The course provides students with basic skills in scientific research methods and how to combine it with design thinking to carry out a small research project. Students will learn how to formulate research questions, collect and analyze data, and present results. At the same time, students will apply the design thinking process to identify and solve real-world problems. This module helps develop analytical, creative and critical thinking abilities in solving scientific and practical problems. Learning outcomes include completing a research project with high applicability and scientific value.
